Lancewood Lodge
I enjoyed my stay!Bulls is located a nice distance between Wellington and Auckland, and gave us a chance to get to Auckland comfortably in one day after arriving in Wellington on the ferry. So I'd recommend the location for people on the same journey.The lodge was very tidy, with a great garden, and some cool cats casually hanging about. Beds were very comfy, and everything that we could have needed was at hand.The host Rhys was really friendly, and welcomed us after a last minute booking as we arrived late at night, just before the office closing time at 10pm.I'd definitely recommend staying here!

We were late and last minute guests who were treated very warmly. The property had a lovely feel and was extremely clean. Our bed was very comfortable . Thank you Rhys we left after a very restful sleep. Would have been nice to be able to stay longer.

Fantastic olde world charm.Hosts very friendly and helpful.Amazing gardens.Rooms and facilities of a very good standard.Definitely stay again and highly recommend.Very affordable, we have stayed all over the world and throughout NZ.Enjoyed a long hot soak in bath with complimentary coffee, farmbake cookies and lollies.Hard to see road sign which is an awesome sign.

Lovely place, town is a short walk away.Very peaceful and quiet, spacious rooms and beautiful surrounds.Will definitely stay again

We were 5 hours late, the host stayed up. Greeted us on arrival and had cooked us pizzas that were far better than any fast food chain. Very accommodating and a lovely relaxing stay. Highly recommended to anyone!

Great welcome from Rhys and his mum. Accomodation is comfortable and well kept. Close enough to walk to town centre though far enough away from traffic noise of the State Highway. Will book in again when working in Bulls next.

Excellent communication a friendly reception, the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable with a self help tea making etc. close to town, . I would stay again, without hesitation

Good location, a short walk away from the centre of town. Very clean. Friendly and approachable host. Shared facilities and relatively small rooms. It does what it does well.

Lancewood Lodge, definitely worth the stay , Rhys is well accommodating, room is great.Just need some improvement with the wifi, a bit slow.But the entire stay for almost a week, was great.Would book again of course.No cooking though, you can eat nearby, located near BP, 5 minutes walk.Pizza store and chicken & chipsBulls KebabBulls Indian Curry RestuarantIyara Thai Eatery - the crispy pork w/ rice , my favorite.Also a Mint Cafe, 4 square.
