Beautiful accommodation just a short drive from the town of Greymouth. Both the facilities and the owner Jolene made us feel instantly at home, taken care of and incredibly comfortable. We were very lucky to have had been able to stay here and would unreservedly recommend it to anyone travelling through West Coast. Only negative is we wish we stayed longer!

This place was exceptional! Even having arrived late and leaving early the next day, it had that much of an impact on us. From arrival we were greeted by host Jolene who was warm, bubbly, knowledgeable and made us feel right at home.The room was everything and more with the comfiest lounge chairs and exceptional bed!But the best part - without a doubt, the hot tub in the bush under the stars. This place is wheel chair accessible, surrounded by nature, has a friendly pet weka - our only wish is that we could have stayed longer! We can’t wait to go back. Thank you thank you!

What a gem!Perfect, so clean that it felt like a home away from home, all amenities including a milk frother and decent coffee! And finally a tv where we could log on to Netflix ourselves. And privacy ánd an amazing view!This was our refuge after our other motel was a bust and we left a day earlier. We booked this last minute and were welcomed in a super friendly fashion. Jolene gave us tips based on our travel plans and the fact that we spontaneously decided to come here.We’ve been traveling the west coast for a couple of weeks and found that finding a nice place to stay can be difficult in these remote locations. This was a really really nice place to stay.Thanks for having us!

Absolute amazing place to stay. The room was spacious with a great bathroom. The hot tub was an absolute treat sitting in the middle of the bush looking up at the stars.Also only a very short drive the township and best of all no noise. Its a paradise on the coast.

Our stay was great. Quiet, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was an absolute treat, and made for some of the best views of the stars we’ve ever experienced.Jolene was very hospitable and friendly. A great spot for a quiet getaway in a idyllic location.

Honestly, I've thought long and hard about posting this review, but I think it needs to be said.We arrived late to check in (2 hours late), I hold my hands up to that point. But the reason behind this was that in the welcome email there was no timings communicated about check in times and I unfortunately was travelling through areas with little signal so it appears I missed the calls from reception to explain myself.The reception that we received on arrival was extremely aggressive, the man in question pointed a torch in our eyes and shouted at us asking if we were joking. This tone only changed when he realised that my partner was actually from New Zealand and we weren't tourists from the UK. As soon as he realised she was from Christchurch the tone changed immediately.I appreciate that we made a mistake and we apologized profusely for it on arrival, but regardless of what happens, you should never be so aggressive to people who are paying to stay at your property.Customer service is everything. I hope no one else receives the same treatment we did.*EDITED TO RESPOND*You have lied below, I have not confused your property with anywhere else, I have proof that I stayed there and you know full well what happened.If you scroll through these reviews, you will also find a similar review of someone accusing you of being aggressive on arrival, it seems we weren't the only ones.....

Very comfortable accomodation in a lovely secluded bush setting complete with private wood-fired hot tub. Wonderfully hosted by Andrew and Jolene who provided many helpful hints on local sights and attractions and how best to access them. A great place to explore the region from and an equally great place to retreat to if you just want to escape the woes of the world!

Situated amongst the wonderful West Coast bush the spacious, clean and well appointed units are laid out to maximize privacy and views making for the perfect getaway. The hot tub nestled amongst the trees was the perfect way to end the day - wine in hand of course :)If you want the feeling of being amongst nature, away from the hustle and bustle but just a quick drive to some fantastic restaurants, shopping and activities this is the place to go.Friendly and helpful hosts made us very welcome and provided great information on the area.We can't wait to get back!

What an incredible place to stay. This was a such a great experience. Our only regret is not staying here longer. The room was so nice and cozy. We loved the quiet setting and loved the company around us from the local wildlife and the exceptional hosts.

Was on a trip of NZ and stayed in 10+ different locations. This place was ok. Nice view. That said, I didn't feel we were welcomed particularly warmly, relative to other places we stayed. Also noticed notes around the room that contributed to a feeling that we weren't welcome; notes about cooking smells resulting in fines and terse instructions to rinse recycling, etc. Look, it wasn't too an experience, on the whole. It just didn't feel as welcoming as most other places I've stayed. The main room could also do with a coffee table or foot-stools or something. Was a reasonably barren main space, otherwise. Anyway, I don't want to be too negative, just honest about how my wife and I felt. Pretty good value. Heater/mock fireplace was cool. Bed and bedding was comfy.
