Great service. Helpful and friendly staff.

Needed a short notice rental car due to a breakdown just before closing on a Saturday evening . Tried a couple of the big name rental companies and just got overseas based call centres who were no help. Bargain call centre contacted the local team who got back to us within a few minutes. Within 15 minutes they had a car organised, a quick Uber ride over to them and we were on our way. Car was cheap, well presented and perfect for our needs. Thanks heaps guys :-)

Absolute rip off. Hired a car from Tauranga to Auckland 1 way. Called before hand and was told $120 for an old busted up Nissan Teena with dings and scratches all over, grubby interior and engine that shook at certain rpm. Ok its fine as we needed to get home. What's messed up was at drop off at Auckland was told no space and take somewhere else. (Not my problem?) Also to pay further $150 for 1-way fee... name is Bargain Rental right? Then why charge $120 p/day for a old beat up car when NEW car hire are like $50-$60 a day and because we explained the situation and going to AKL, assumed $120p/day covered the 1 way. There was no information given to us that we would have to pay a further $150! Totalling $330 by the time we returned it with full tank for just 1 DAY hire for a busted up old car!! A taxi would have been better with no need to drive myself.
