Quiet, secure, spacious, clean, basic equipment

Lovely two bedroom apartment on the banks of the Waikato River. Stunning views from the large balcony and living / dining / master bedrooms over the beautiful clear water. Wonderfully clean and spacious, kids had a great time on the free kayaks that are provided by the owners. Free Netflix and fast, free Wifi was great. Fully equipped kitchen, all the essentials and nice extras like spices, oils, coffee and tea provided. Double-car garaging a bonus but we didn't need to drive, just a few minutes walk into town. Thanks for having us Linda, we'll be back as soon as we can!

Cool two bedroom place right on the river. Close to town, easy to walk or ride so you can leave the car in the garage. Cool balcony with great views. Free wifi and Netflix too! I did the Tongariro Crossing while we stayed and it was amazing!

Booked in with short notice, went out of their way to make sure cleaning etc would be done on time. Exceeded expectation, living areas and master had great view of river. Very clean. Easy stroll to cafes and shops.Will return.

I have stayed at both Riverside One and now Riverside Two apartments and this two bedroom penthouse style apartment has all of the same “riverside”magic. Lovely, light, beautifully furnished and spacious. Large balcony with outdoor furniture perfect for relaxing on and taking in the views over the river. Secure double garage and guests have use of the heated (in summer) swimming pool and free kayaks. Free wifi and nice entertainment with the new large flatscreen TV. Perfect spot for a couple, or family of four though there is also a sofa bed that we found very comfortable.

A fabulous and spacious apartment! Modern and clean with a luxurious feel. Stunning kitchen with good quality equipment to cook til your heart’s content. A 6 minute walk over the bridge of the beautiful Waikato river to the town to grab your groceries or find a restaurant. Stunning views of the river and a nice quiet spot.

Fantastic modern new and clean apartment. Superbly equipped, full kitchen, two bedrooms plus sofa bed... stunning views. Love the swimming pool and kayaks. The balcony is awesome for evening drinks watching the river go by! Free WiFi is fast and free Netflix great to keep the kids occupied or watching a late night movie on the big flatscreen TV.

Stayed for a week with our four children, plenty of space to spread out, free wifi and Netflix for those rainy days, close to shops etc. Impeccably clean apartment, beautiful kitchen to cook in and fabulous views over the river. Even on those rainy days there’s plenty of light with picturesque windows and it’s warm and cosy with double glazing - it’s a lovely place to relax when you aren’t out and about exploring Taupo. Everything you’d need for a holiday with a family, washing machine, large internal garage, dishwasher, microwave, two beautiful bathrooms, comfortable sofa bed in the lounge room. The balcony is an added bonus to sit and watch the peaceful river at night or enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine! Linda and Greg were fantastic friendly hosts, very quick with correspondence and clear instructions for the apartment. Couldn’t fault a single thing! Will definitely be recommending this apartment to our friends and family.

Such an awesome spot to stay, views over the river are unbeatable, and very calming. The apartment is very surprisingly roomy and the balcony an unexpected bonus to share a wine on. Everything is well labelled and easy to find/operate. This is by far the best place I have stayed in Taupo - and close proximity to town makes it a must" to book."
