Creole's Bar & Eatery
A lovely well presented and organised coffee shop on the front line of hibiscus coast highway with a pleasant seating area outside or if you wish to take it further to pop next door and get on the games in the bar. Adjacent to Creole’s Bar, Underground Skateboard shop and Brews liquor, opposite a beautiful beach to sit down, relax and enjoy your coffee with a book or some good old conversation. Well mannered knowledgeable staff and a very tasty coffee all in all if you’re around be sure to come on down.

Came for brunch with partner, kid, and pups. Nice locale. Eggs bene, NZ Farmers breakfast, and fish and chips all went down well! Nice coffee too.Such a terrible shame the service was non existent, with an attendant who almost refused to string a sentence together to help.

Pretty good bar, nice outdoor area out back, pokies are the same as everywhere else, play them if you don't mind losing money or play them and maybe win money.

The venue looks clean and tidy. The atmosphere is let down by the guy behind bar having no sense of hospitality and being extremely unhelpful/unfriendly.Visited with a group of 6 people at 8pm on Thursday to play pool in courtyard. Had to ask for cues after being issued coins to use, had to ask for heater to be turned on. The male staff was hostile in every interaction despite it being his own poor service in doing his job well that meant I had to keep asking him for things.When food came out, it was plonked on table that we weren't even sitting at!Back door slammed and locked up at 8:45pm -asked if it could be left open 5 mins longer as a friend was arriving, no verbal response just a head shake and scowling face while walking back inside.We felt really let down-as if our money wasn't appreciated and they wanted to close and go home.It's such a shame that locals dont feel welcome at a place that once had the support of everyone in town.

I have nothing positive to say about our experience. The service was poor, the food was cold, and my main meal arrived 30 -mins after the rest of my family had eaten. There are far better places to eat in Orewa. These guys have no idea about hospitality - this was not hospitality.

I got boba from here. The boba tasted nice, but it was a bit over priced. However the staff were really friendly. Overall a good experience, and I would recommend.

Some staff at this place are rude and obnoxious, they should not be working in hospitality, they put out the vibe that you are an annoyance being at their venue.

We had a meal in the café ordering off their all day breakfast menu. The food was cooked well. It was nice and quiet and they let us sit at the table talking and continued to replace our water once it was empty. Would return, maybe next time I would have a couple of beers.
