About the Business
Other community pools Far North District Council | Kawakawa swimming pool is owned and operated by Sport Northland. It is a 25m indoor heated pool with six lanes. It is located in the Bay of Islands Recreation Centre within the Bay of Islands College grounds. This pool is open all year round including public holidays except Christmas Day.

Awesome local pool guards but the infrastructure lets the pool down (poor lighting, poor ablutions, poor entrance sealing). Despite this, the pool has been very busy of late which is awesome to see. 1x 50m pool, small public gym, and members' gym available with awesome weekly group fitness classes. This is the area's only public pools and I'm here to see it upgraded and given the respect it deserves!
