Jarks Restaurant Hastings
I was with a small party of 20 in the loft area. It is very echoing up there and doubled with the combination of very squeaky wooden stairs from people up and down including staff, it makes it very hard to hear any conversation! We ate pizza, fries , tiny spring rolls etc which were lovely. Can't fault the food or the service.

The owner is nasty and only cares about making money. She rushes people out so she can clear the tables so she can fit more costumers in. When really she should appreciate the costumers that are supporting her business. Don’t think she treats her staff very nicely either from what I’ve heard. Food was pretty nice but she drains the atmosphere from the restraint and doesn’t make costumers feel welcome.also asked the Asian girl to take a plate to clear our table and handed it to her and she refused to take it. If a costumer wants something cleared you do it. Especially when your standing at the table already asking if anything needs to be cleared

Quick and easy to choose one of their best selection from the menu. Its menu is devided into types of meals and price range. The food is quite good and come in nice decoration like the steak I have and the soft crab. Crumble apple is delicious. It's 2 pm and many people are still coming - sitting, standing, gathering around. What a warm restaurant!

Great food, even better service. The owner kindly accommodated an extra person at last minute and all serving staff were really welcoming, smiley and attentive. Great place! Looking forward to next time!

An excellent evening spent at Jarks.10 of us went for a family birthday and it was a great experience.We sat down and the server introduced herself and asked if we wanted drinks and then starters.They came out quickly and were delicious. We ordered mains and the wait wasn't bad. However when the meal came out they had stuffed 2 of the orders up so they gave us the wrong meals but also made our original meals too. They didn't charge us for the 2 people who's meals were wrong. They also told as as when they spotted the error.The food was delicious and beautifully presented.The place was busy but not crowded.The staff were helpful, and very polite.I 10/10 reccomend coming here

Jarks Restaurant Hastings
We had a birthday dinner with 15 guests. The service was great, the waitress ran up and down the stairs all evening, delivering food and drinks. Always a smile and knew exactly, who ordered which food. The food was outstanding and the birthday boy even got a candle on this icecream sundae. Would highly recommend Jarks.

Nice surroundings and fitted us in even though main restaurant was busy.Crumbed Mushrooms were yummy which we shared.My partner had the beef schnitzel and loved it. I had the cafe de paris steak but wasn't overly happy with the butter or the meal. Something lacking from my expectation. We will be back so I can try something else from the menu

We dined in just as the lunch rush was ending. Very busy, but the staff made us feel very welcome and found us a lovely spot for lunch. Our meals were also fantastic

Love this restaurant so cozy. All the staff are very friendly and appreciated there help much. The food taste is really great and nice presentation for all foods they delivered. Love it!
