One of the best NZMCA camps as others have also told me. Dry parking, very short walk to the township with clean public loos, a good laundromat, a movie theatre and heaps of delicious, reasonably priced places to eat. Plenty of flat, easy places to walk or cycle and a really good museum a short drive or cycle away.

a very well organised and run park. Good hard gravel to park on and easy walk to all town amenities. A wee bit noisy at night with traffic but nothing too much. Very friendly custodian Ruth. Thankyou for your hospitality.By the way, the waste water dump is close by at the caltex station right by the carwash but not signposted there so extremely hard to find.

A nice place to stay 2 or 3 nights. Kept tidy and clean everywhere. Loved the wooden seats in the corner by the river. Thank you Custodians. We will be back......
