Unbelievable, my partner just sat in the waiting room for 5 hours for no one to see her! She came in with chest pains which is something that should be seen to right away and she got told that others were more important than her chest pains like getting their legs checked out which is already in a cast! She watched the room get cleared 3 times. Just a joke of a medical system

Disgusting charging $20 for prescriptions when you ring up. Taking people for a ride. Ppl need their prescriptions and shouldn’t be paying $20 to ring for one in when there is no need to be seeing a dr.

Place you go when you're sick or in need of medical care. We go here for immunisations and the care received is exemplary.

Called twice, phone was answered promptly on both occasions.Listened to what I required and assisted with what I need before I book an X-Ray appointment.Went to the site during break time, got in time for the scheduled appointment, did not have to wait too long. So, was able to get back to work with minimal break consumption.The X-Ray personnel, shout out to him, had a great personable attitude on how he chatted with me.While on my stay, I saw and felt the Reception ladies are calm and helpful.They have PayWave without surcharge, which made it easy for me as I left my card and had to use my phone.I recommend this place for X-Ray and not the one in Russell Street, that place is bonkers and always makes excuses.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND HASTINGS HEALTH CARE CENTRES! This includes HAVELOCK NORTH HEALTH CENTRE where i first attended, had repeateded terrible visits and eventually i refused to go back there. I ended up seeing Gweda Ward at Hastings Health Centre who was amazing. However after the one visit, which was intensive and thorough the follow up was passed on to junior doctors after reassurance this wouldn't happen. Got juggled from one doctor to another , doctors constantly leaving , my health booking system is RUBBISH, has been nearly 10 months trying to get results from the speacilist appontments, follow up appointments and trying to make general appointments. The MYHEALTH app they provide is DREADFUL and gets you nowhere trying to do anything. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this health centre to anyone!

Not impressed, I understand dealing with people all day gets tiring and naturally as humans we talk, but next time make sure you are out of the building before you belittle a patient and make fun of them, the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything, very unprofessional from the nurses.

Absolutely horrible. Been on hold for a hour and a half, just for paracetamol... It's ridiculous. Shouldn't have to wait that long to be answered

when you ring for an appointemnt or a prescription it takes for ever to answer the phone, when you go onto the website it says not busy. I have spoken to them about this but nothing seems to happen

Went to Hastings health centre on Saturday 14th may as my usual clinic in dannevirke was closed and my appointment was not until Monday but I couldn’t wait to get treatment for the pain, waited 3 hours for an appointment only to be seen for 5 minutes, the wait time wasn’t the issue, the doctor let me know my sore throat was viral gave me a prescription for aspirin, I still went to my appointment on Monday in Dannevirke, finding out I have strep throat not a viral sore throat like I was told in Hastings, I’m not a doctor but from what I’ve heard untreated strep can lead to possible heart issues?

Would not recommend. This is clearly a law firm (or car dealership) masquerading as a doctors clinic. It's a business with the focus of profit. Money farming charging 50 bucks per visit just to leave thinking was I just ignored and whisked away.Now mysterious charges added to your account only becoming aware of it when final notice was text. These guys are sketchy with their admin. Got told my consultation was covered under ACC by GP but charged full rate. I paid it stupidly being to proud to argue over 20-30 bucks. Receipt from last visit months ago shows account paid in full. The funny thing is. I have been seeing another doctor since because if they can't even get that right I'd hate to think how they manage the rest of the place.
