Three stars rather than two, based solely on the paua fritter. Everything else was overcooked/burnt, the fish tasted really old and the potato fritters were only partially cooked. First and definitely the last time.

Bought some herring here. After eating it we started to feel sick. Then we discovered the fish was more than 3 months beyond the best before date. Usually I'm not too fuzzy about bbd, but with chilled foods I'm careful.The product wasn't marked as such.Don't want to know how they treat other chilled foods. Won't come back.

Great place for a variety of sea fish at a reasonable price. The fishermen at the shop are knowledgeable and helpful.

Have had reasonable food in the past. Yesterday my fish order tasted unpleasant and oily, and the potato fritters were soggy with oil. Will now go back to my favourite chippy Go Fish in Petone, a family run business with consistently good product for many years.

Normally very happy with this place but was just told I cannot buy 3 oysters with my F&C! At $5 each that is all I want to spend as a pensioner.......will NOT be coming back here.

Their website says they open at 7:30am. Wasted time and petrol by coming here to learn they open only at 9am. Update your website!

Was recommended as a great spot in the Hutt. Must have come on an off day. Pretty basic fish n chips. Disappointing, especially considering the price,I definitely expected better value.
