The Coffee Club Highland Park
Had an excellent time there. Comfortable seating with great coffee and food menu. A little pricey which is why it doesn't get 5 stars from me but the quality of the meals are excellent. Perfect if you got time on your hands and you want to take your laptop work with you and enjoy it with great coffee and meals. Highly recommended for that brunch meat you want with your friends.

Not usually one to post a review but not a great experience. The service was poor and meals were badly presented and expensive. Our bacon wasn’t cooked well and when asked if we could have it cooked again we were told it was “pre cooked bacon”. Don’t recommend.

Had lunch there yesterday and will never go back again! Dirty tables, messy untidy environment, stale cheese scones. We asked one of the staff for butter, and were given a dirty look, a sigh and a grumpy attitude. Obviously too much to ask for.... - and didn't get the butter. Expensive and horrid experience. Better to spend your hard earned money else where.

Took 40 minutes for our food to come out. We waited while 2 couples ordered after us got their food before us. Food was okay. Watched the chef put some eggs onto some toast with her hands without gloves.

Ordered a Lime thick shake however, it's like a milkshake. Coffee club should remove thick shakes from the menu. Every time I have ordered from different locations thick shake is basically milkshake.I ordered Chicken parmigiana - it's not nice at all . Doesn't even taste like chicken Parmigiano. There is no taste or flavor to. The coffee club used to be good before now it's the worse cafe ever.

Burger was smothered in mustard and not seasoned. The seafood platter or fisherman's basket was terrible, squid rings was undercooked, shrimps were overcooked. Salad was just thrown on the plate . Lack of presentation and taste . Overall disappointing food experience.

Bad customer service I wanted to go toilet first before I ordered my food. The lady in the kitchen told me “you can’t use the toilet only for customers” in reply I told her can I go toilet first before I order. Like what a rude lady. Never coming back.

Honestly not impressed here. I understand that it’s Christmas, and that you only had 2 people working but still no excuse. First the lady gave part of order to some other table, said “oops” and then proceeded to give it to us even though someone else had touched it. Bad hygiene there. Then she serves us two hard boiled eggs and calls it “poached eggs on toast” both were hard as rocks. The salad was okay, there was a ridiculous amount of lettuce though, I’ve had Caesar salad before and it wasn’t filled with this much lettuce, there wasn’t much chicken or bacon in it either I might add. The wait time was really long. You really need to hire more staff, the wait and the food was ridiculous. I will not be recommending this coffee club to anyone at all. 1 star is very generous, you deserve nine stars Honestly.
