At last I've gone to see this local attraction"! It's better than I expected. You can see from the photos it is next to a busy highway and is not signposted."

Something not to miss!!!This place has been underrated. You get all your natural minerals here in this beautifully looked after spring. This has cured my anxiety I carried for life.

First time seeing this, looked to be in good order, clean and virtually no litter - I picked up some small bits of plastic while I was there and put them in the conveniently placed bin.

There is so much history here you wonder when you visit, the purpose of it!Just a quick pull over on the side of the road you’ll be amazed at this little pool. Why is it fizzy, how is it natural, where does it come from? There should definitely be a museum for this!

When you plan a trip to New Zealand, people will rave about how magical the country is. But it's impossible to truly FEEL what makes it so special before you come yourself, and visit a place like the Natural Fizzy Spring. Being here, we felt transported, transformed, and boundless. We felt we were a little closer to the sort of people we've been striving to be, and living in the world as we've always wanted to see it. No trip to Aotearoa would be complete without the immersive splendor of Natural Fizzy Spring. Everyone and their grandchildren needs visit (kids and family friendly).***One small complaint~ I do regret the lack of personal lockers on the premise. On my seventh arcing swan dive out of the Spring, I realized my phone had grown waterlogged and was no longer functioning. Ah well. Still totally worth it.

By far the best hidden gem of the North Island! I’d never seen a natural fizzy spring before and when my boyfriend promised me this amazing experience I had my doubts but my expectations were exceeded. The viewing area, strange natural orange environment, fervently bubbling water, roadside location, parking availability, lack of a signpost (so it stays a hidden gem) and a rubbish bin to hold all the waste from the food and drink you’ll consume while you’re there - what more could you want?! I don’t know why this isn’t listed in the Lonely Planet...

Hate to admit it, but, ticket prices have SKYROCKETED… needless to say it’s down to inflation. But happy to report that it is still 100% worth the spend. I teared up upon arrival. It was overwhelming to finally see what is commonly considered the 8th natural wonder of the world.PUT THIS SHOWSTOPPER ON YOUR BUCKET LIST!Fun for all the family (it IS a full day event). And is a memory I’m unlikely to ever forget.
