The scenic drive into Taupo is what you used to see on PostCards from a bygone era. It is Breathtaking beautiful.The background to the Taupo sign is non other than Lake Taupo the picture square back drop of mountains of the Tongariro National Park makes for beautiful photos at the sign.There are plenty eateries just across the road from there that caters for everybody.A stroll along the boardwalk is highly recommended. Just make sure you a jacket for those windy days.

Take a deep breath of fresh air right here. Face towards the Lake Taupo. The characters are neat and well-designed. Situated in front of many restaurants, pubs, bars, and cafes. Just cross the road, you can enjoy this view from there in both morning and night time!

Although the day we visited wasn’t a perfect weather and it was raining but the views were amazing. I loved the photo place with the name of Taupo. They have a nice market nearby and lot of options to stay and eat around.

The loveTaupo sign is a fantastic attraction situated right in front of Lake Taupo, it's easily accessible and conveniently located, making it a must-visit spot for capturing memorable moments.There are plenty of restaurants nearby, allowing you to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Lovely spot to go for a long weekend. At the time we were there, there was a mid Xmas/winter light show on.Went for a cruise on the lake and saw some rock carvings, very nice.
