Whanganui War Memorial Centre
As a guest at an awards ceremony, I found the War Memorial Hall an ideal venue.There was plenty of room to seat a good sized crowd, and still leakage room for catering tables to be set up.The acoustics were good, the speakers could be heard clearly.

Although it was quiet, a very spacious and inviting place to either entertain a concert or a dancing event or a conference or an art show. The world is you oyster when it comes to doing what you please within its walls. A very pleasant place to visit.

Went here for the Masters; nice hall, wasn't at all cold even though we were there relatively early in the day.Found free parking not too far away.

A great facility that can cater to a variety of event types. Been to a shopping sale, concert and conference there. Well set up with plenty of space and parking.
