There has been a change of ownership recently I found that the food was very good and reasonable price. The bacon and egg muffin I had had plenty of filling and tasted delicious. This cafe also serves liquor.

Food was delicious! Prices great. Wonderful playground for kids and they are dog friendly too! Nice outdoor seating. If you have a motorhome you can park in their carpark overnight too.

New Owners. He was getting ready to close and generously offered to keep the kitchen open for us.All 3 meals were excellent, iced coffees awesome, service was quick and toilets really clean. Well worth stopping here.

Very disappointed with our experience here today. Our drinks were as bad as the service we received, given to us in takeaway cups although we were dining in. Had to collect from the counter ourselves and there were huge lumps of chocolate powder in the iced chocolates. The one staff member that was working was very unwelcoming. We will not be returning which is a shame because we used to come here quite often and really enjoyed it.

Love this cafe. It is a great place to take children, have excellent coffee and food and relax. They have a big indoor space with a really good sized, fenced play area and a huge outdoor space with swings, slides and ride on toys. Super playground for the under 7yr olds. Not flash but a welcome area to let off some steam.

I had a beautifully prepared and tasty meal at the Lighthouse today. Unfortunately there was little else to recommend it. Despite our large group having booked some months ago, the staff and kitchen were not prepared for us. One person taking orders for over 40 people, some with mobility issues, meant a long and slow moving queue. Serving staff had to thread their way through this queue with each completed order.Thus, some of us were waiting in excess of 20 minutes for our meal. I enjoyed a portion of my lunch and visited the restroom, upon returning I found my meal was still on the table but my Chair had vanished!!It rapidly became obvious that our group was expected to “eat up and get out”as another large group were expected. So, as I left I commented on the disappearance of my seat and was informed that we were meant to have left the premises by a specific time, I said I wanted to finish my meal and asked if I was expected to stand....the reply “there were chairs outside”Hospitality? Not in my book.

Very disappointed. Took 45 minutes for coffee to come out, and the order was done incorrectly. I am aware there may have been miscommunication about my food allergy. However, service was poor when I informed the staff the allergen was present in my meal. They presented the same plate of food three times asking me to eat it. They were unaware of the ingredients in the meal - I had to read the ingredient label for them. I was informed that the chef was too busy to remake the meal. They made us pay for an additional meal to accomodate my needs.

Absolutely best avocado smash I have had in my life, also staff were great with meeting my low carb requirements and swapped out bread for garlic mushrooms. Food looked and tasted amazing. Staff and atmosphere is great with plenty of child friendly space. Thumbs up from me! ✌

Went to have a lunch with my Aunty as she had gone there over a year ago and it was great. There was only one staff member on who was lovely however the food was absolutely horrible. I’m not sure if it’s because she was on her own trying to cook 2 hot meals and serve people coming and going but I was highly disappointed. The mushrooms were inedible, the toast cold, my hash brown and bacon had been drowned in the mushrooms so inedible. Eggs were the only thing I could eat. She also forgot my drink but when that came it was fine. Will not be returning.

So terrible. Between the slow unfriendly and just strange service to the horrible food that was slop, old and stale I think this might be the worst food experience i’ve had in my life. Honestly made me feel a bit ill and decided not to finish the food. Such a shame this place used to be great.
