Neil offered over the phone help for me, as I had just moved house and my washing machine needed a solution that didn't require a call out. Just want to say thank you so much! I'm a solo mum and this saved me $$$ and a lot of stress :) super grateful.

I’m managing a property for my friend. Neil came and fixed the washing machine and was paid. A few days later the washing machine broke down again with the same fault. I have tried numerous times to call Neil but he won’t call me back. Neil you are welcome to call me, you have my number so you can fix the washing machine! Thanks Richelle

Gave this business the benefit of doubt to contact me as I tried numerous times either by phone call which was not answered, text message & even email. Initial contact was Jan 31st & he was very positive about being able to fix our dish drawer … and still nothing from them as of todays date March 29th. If you didn’t want the job, just tell me & I’ll look elsewhere. Terrible communication on your behalf

Poor experience, charged 3 times the market cost of product replaced. Would suggest that check around the prices with other electrical businesses too for any repairs. Max. $200 job when checked with others but checked bit late when the job was done, appliance fix charged me $350. Upon questioning, reduced $30.Would not recommend..

Neil sorted my leaking fridge in less than half an hour ...It was a slight factory fault issue and I am thrilled my problems gone.Thankyou very much

I called Neil and in less than a few days I had my washer assessed and a new machine installed! Fast, professional and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Neil came to fix our machine, replaced the pump and clearly didnt test it as upon first use the machine flooded the laundry. Got hold of him and he said he'd call back the next day to make a time the following day to fix it and have heard no word for over a week now. Have tried ringing and leaving messages with no answer or call back, have emailed too.It appears we have been ghosted, and left with a machine worse off than when we booked the job. Unbelievably unprofessional behaviour and would not recommend.

Responded to text request immediately, priced job within two hours. Advise when parts were available and completed the repair efficiently. Really happy with service. I would highly recommend to anyone needing appliance repairs.

I normally don't write reviews when I had a bad experience. But in this case I make an exception.The fridge compartment of my fridge/freezer had stopped cooling and prior to that the LEDs would occasionally flash to indicate that there is a fault.Based on the reviews here and because it is a local business I contacted Appliance Fix and asked for help.The initial response was great. Neil came by at the agreed time, had a look and determined that he needed to swap a part, which he did. So far so great.I left the fridge off for 48 hour to allow it to defrost completely. Once the fridge started cooling again I thanked Neil via txt to which I got a response.A day later I noticed that the flashing LED lights had come on again and I notified Neil, again via txt. Neil responded saying that there might be another fault and that he will call me to arrange a time.And this was the last time I heard from him.I sent multiple txt messages, as this seems to be their preferred way of contact and left voice mails. All of which did not yield any kind of response.All this happened 6 weeks ago and I have now purchased a new fridge.I am all about sustainability and supporting the local businesses.Unfortunately, my experience with Appliance Fix has left me frustrated and somewhat suspicious about the appliances repair business as well as out of pocket for the needless installation of a rather expensive part.I hope Neil will read this and takes notes to improve on his communication when a job is perhaps more difficult than initially thought.Thanks

I rang Neil this morning to see if we could get our washing machine fixed in the next few days. Was on my way to the laundromat. He was in the vicinity, showed up on time and fixed the machine super quickly.Recommend 100%.Made my day, I didn’t need to go to the laundromat.
