Nice outdoor coffee container with toilets next door. Friendly staff and good coffee. Was a bit cold the day we stopped so didn’t stay long outside.

Takeout Coffee Kiosk. A must stop when passing through Waiouru. Good Havana Coffee and a few chocolate bars and biscuits for sale as well as made on premises Chocolate Coated Marshmallow Balls and Apricot & Coconut Fudge. Havana cups must be the coolest takeout cups around, they are 'Innocent Packaging' made and recyclable/compostable. Jailhouse also sells Keep Cups" to use over and over. Set up now in a converted shipping container (used to be in a small truck parked in same place). A real home built Kiwi enterprise! It is on the grass area behind the Public Bathrooms (open 24/7)

Bit of a let down. I went to this place because it had fantastic reviews. Service was good, but the coffee itself was average.If I was passing through again I’d try somewhere else.

Focused solely on coffee, very few other goodies so if you feel snacky, you should go somewhere else. If you want a quick service and great coffee, this is the right place.
