Snow Temp Heating Solutions

I have used Snowtemp on more than one occasion; for heat pumps & hot water heat pumps (for heating hot water, & under floor heating).Highly recommend them for providing great sales advice so that you actually purchase the right heat pump for the job, depending on your specific needs. And then the flow on for regular service and support has been easy.I have found their service and friendly staff to be FANTASTIC !!! Best of all, they remember me when I contact them, which makes me feel like a valued customer.

Our SnowTemp Cleanair HRV was installed a week ago. Buying a brand new home with double glazing and adequate heating we expected it to be dry and warm but quickly found out the condensation was awful. In the mornings when the overnight temperature outside was low, all the windows in the house were dripping, the bedrooms were the worst. I was spending half an hour a morning mopping up with old towels. Last night's cooking smells lingered even when using our externally vented range hood. Installing the HRV has changed all of that. The house is dry and warmer and it smells fresh and there is no more condensation on any of the windows or joinery. Our bedroom doors can now be closed with ventilated and fresh rooms and the heat pumps are not working so hard. We wanted to choose a system which copes with a colder climate as having moved from Auckland six months ago, a ventilation system we had in our previous house would not have coped with the colder climate. Plus the steam from showering is exhausted quickly and we have comfort knowing our house is secure and warmer without having to leave windows open to ventilate the house. Coming into high pollen season will mean two members of our family who suffer from hay fever will be more comfortable with filtered fresh air and closed windows. Really thrilled, great investment.

We had our heat pumps reinstalled after renovating our home by these guys. Snow Temp were friendly and, were able to do the job straight away. They also serviced our Heat Pumps and gave us advice on running them and keeping them clean. The heat pumps are working as good as new now and I have confidence we'll have no issues. Thanks. We are coming around today they said. Well that was 6 days ago and my house/family is still freezing cold. And each time I called they had an excuse. Stringing me along, could have just been honest from the start.

Go them out to look at my heat pump , quick response and quick fix, replacing a blown fuse, was there no longer than an hour , then invoiced me for 2 hours labour, 282$ total for blown fuse is a bit Rich

Appalling customer service over the phone. Provided a quote that was very excessive and more than $300 more than other competitors so it pays to shop around for sure. I don't know if they just didn't want the job because it was not a large job, and over quoted but I prefer a straight answer.

I would like to thank Scott and his very competent team at Snow Temp for installing the Cleanaire CL200 HRV unit and ducting in May 2019, it is working very well! Humidity overnight in our bedroom dropped by over 10% and condensation has gone. Heating times have increased as expected but this is easily offset by the quality and quantity of sleep we now get and the freshness of the air throughout our 4 year old double glazed home.
