We had heard great things about this place so we were happy to give it a go, the people working there are lovely! BUT, the food was dreadful! I ordered the beef burger and asked for no red onion as I am allergic, once we got our food I took one bite into the burger and it had RAW red onion throughout the meat. Not only that but the patty was also majority raw meat and cold in the middle. I couldn’t eat it due to the onion so gave it to my partner who agreed it was severely lacking. My partner ordered the Stacy’s Stack and most of his meal was cold immediately after serving. We were greatly disappointed and won’t be coming back.

Fantastic food. Generous sizes good prices. The muffins were nice and moist with a crunchy top cinnamon sugar. Cheese scones the same, multiple cheeses in them the flavour was divine. Coffee hot and smooth. So in other words we loved it!!!

Came here twice when we visited Christchurch for 3 days, both times for lunch. Really enjoyed the buttermilk pancakes, it's not often the pancake stack itself is as exciting as their toppings! Their granola mix with fruits and coconut yoghurt was beautifully presented and moorish. Both my visits I ordered the hot spiced blackcurrant, it's a cup of comfort during the cold weather.Look out for the spicy cheese scrolls that are located ontop of their food cabinet. We got one to go after our first visit and came back for more, but unfortunately missed out. They get snapped up quick!Relaxed atmosphere, quirky and spacious interior.

Wow, what a find. Went here for Brunch today (Sun). Was made welcome as soon as I walked in the door. Staff were amazing, and the kai was even better as was the kāwhe and reboot smoothie.Place was packed, can see why. Everything about this place says Excellence. If your visiting, as I was or a local, definitely give this place a go, bookings recommended but they do take walk ins like I was but your not guaranteed a table if busy, understandably.Definitely highly recommend this place. Ngā mihi Team for the wonderful experience, you were all awesome.

Fantastic coffee and excellent breakfast. Corn fritters were fabulous, super fresh, soft and fluffy on the inside but crunchy on the outside. Service was very prompt and polite.Got busy pretty fast but food came out surprisingly quickly! Gutted to have not got something from the cabinet though.Definitely one of the best breakfasts in Christchurch, better than many of the other offerings in the central city.

Don’t be fooled by the unassuming frontage of this funky cafe! Once you step inside you are greeted with energetic staff, a large inviting rustic space, delicious smells & a cabinet full of treats! Service was fast, efficient & attentive despite being fairly busy. Delicious coffee & garlic twist was had by me & I’d definitely go back to try something from the extensive menu & spend some more time in this fun space.

Love this place it’s just easy to go to and the food is good. But today we all had eggs Benedict - three chose potato hash - but what arrived was fried potato chunks. Very different to hash as it was advertised. Some disappointed punters. If it’s on the menu it should be on the plate.

They had so many food options!! The eggs Benedict is probably the best i’ve had in Christchurch so far! I appreciate when a cafe makes good hollandaise. The food was so beautiful I couldn’t resist taking pictures of everything haha. They no longer sell pancakes which was disappointing so my friend got the waffles, the toppings were overwhelming. The mouse is made with Whittaker’s chocolate so it tasted so good. They were selling a bunch of non-food items too, including flavoured shots for homemade hot drinks.

Amazing food. Great menu and service. Really good iced mocha, not overly sweet.
