I wish I could give this place a 7 star or above rating. The staff is super friendly ,supportive and caring. They look after you and your baby really well. The kind of knowledge and learning you get from these people is commendable. From mid wives to their support staff everyone one was so kind and gentle. I highly recommend new parents to come to this place and get all the care, love and support you need during those initial days. The food is really delicious with the variety of choices to select for breakfast, lunch and dinner with great quantity. We loved our stay and you made our transition to home very smooth. Thanks team.

We chose to come here for the after birth care knowing that this place and the people running it are absolutely adored by everyone. So with that high expectations, we still found it amazing and super helpful and the best thing we could do. The amount of hospitality, care and practical knowledge you get from these lovely people are incredible. The best example of when things work.

As a parent who had their first child, it's very scary to suddenly step into a role where so much is needed from you (time, energy, recovery from birth, feeding, etc). Once you hold the baby, it's overwhelming and everything you've learnt to date becomes a blur. After 4 hours from giving birth at North Shore Hospital, we were greeted by the team at Warkworth. We had so much support on how to breastfeed, how to change the nappy, how to bath, what to look for, checking in how the mother is doing and how the dad can find his role. So much practical help was offered. The rooms are also private, cozy and homey. Food was great too.I can't thank enough as every staff we came across was super helpful and friendly. Thank you again for supporting us as we embark to parenthood.

Absolutely recommend going here after giving birth, especially if it’s your first baby. The midwives are all so helpful & kind - they provide so much support & advice. We learnt so much and really appreciated their help. Our room had a homey feel, with a shared bathroom with one other room (for the mothers only - all partners and guests need to use the public one.)Everything is free - nappies, baby wipes, prescription medicine, even the food (which was delicious!!) They offer a menu for you to choose from - the partner is provided breakfast although not lunch and dinner however we found the portion sizes to be enough for us to share.Thank you so much to all the midwives there for helping us with our daughters first week :)

I will start off by saying we loved all the midwives and the care we got at Warkworth and the only reason I am obliged to add some negative comments is things we discovered after we got back home and our midwife visited us the next day.My baby had lost over 10 percent body weight while we were there and was quite weak and unsettled because I was not producing enough. I was aware of this and we were doing formula top ups. Asking for formula seemed very daunting as i know it was frowned upon at the centre and i felt that quite distinctly. Trust me I didn't want to do anything more than breastfeed but sometimes it is not possible.2nd my baby did not latch properly. The midwives did come and check but none actually checked for the latch. My midwife wanted to see how I was breastfeeding and she instantly corrected my latch and the feeding became so much less painful.3rd,there was no discussion on breast care. I had mentioned to one of the midwives about mestatitis and i was told it is not common and not to worry. I developed clogged duct that turned to mestatis regardless because I was not aware on how it could have been avoided. For a birthcare that really promotes breastfeeding, breast care should be part of it.I was not offered a pump until I asked for it. I really didn't understand how supply and demand worked when it came to breast feeding and would have loved to try and increase my supply while I was there with pumping if i could.I really wish that I had more help with breastfeeding and general breastfeeding info while I was there, because due to mom guilt and not being able to produce enough, my breastfeeding journey has not been the greatest and on more than one occasion I was ready to give up breastfeeding. I hope learning from my experience can help another new mom.

Thankyou so much Warkworth for letting us stay at your facility with our newborn! When our baby is crying at 3am in the morning, it was so great to have you around to help and learn skills that no one has ever taught us to look after our child. Whether it was changing a nappy, bathing, bottles or settling our child, you were extremely helpful and kind throughout the process. You have made me a better father as a result and I would highly recommend this to anyone!

We recently had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at the Walkworth Birthing Centre after the birth of our beautiful little girl and we cannot say enough positive things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. They were attentive to our needs and were always available to answer any questions. The facility itself was clean and comfortable while the food was homely and delicious. The outside areas are full of manicured grass, trees, and flowers. It felt more like a spa than a hospital. But most importantly, the care we received from the midwives was top-notch. They were kind, compassionate, and incredibly skilled at their jobs. We felt completely safe and supported throughout the entire process. We are forever grateful to the staff at Walkworth Birthing Centre for making our experience such a positive one. It is the best way to welcome lil ZoZa in to the world! Thank you for everything!

I cannot thank enough all the staff at WWBC for making our stay here so special and transition to motherhood smooth. We had our baby at NSH and transferred here for three nights of pampering and helpful advice. Would highly recommend to anyone considering the centre.
