VAPO - Dunedin Vape Shop & E-Cigarettes

I bought this kit in Wellington from Vapo. Within 4 days, the tank started to leak around the seam where the glass attaches with the air flow section of the tank. I got it replaced with a new tank from Vapo Dunedin, but the same issue resurfaced, also after 4 days of using it. However, I did not get a replacement for this faulty second tank. Instead, Vapo dunedin told me that they will be in touch with me, which, I've not heard from them for 10 days by the time I'm writing this review. Very disappointing. I think I will stick to getting my products from Vaporium Dunedin. All these years, Vaporium has always honored the warranty period without questions asked. If I were to have bought this kit from Vaporium, it would have been a one-to-one exchange. I do understand that there are customers who would ruin their kit because of bad handling. But, as I have explained in detail to Vapo Dunedin that I am a careful user, they were not able to honor the warranty for this product. I'm giving one star because of their disappointing service. The kit itself is a good kit. But beware, you might face some leaking which isn't ideal.

Always a 5-star experience visiting VAPO Dunedin. Particularly enjoy my exchanges with Nick, he's a friendly and polite young bloke that'll be ready to help any vaper with advice or products to meet their stopping smoking goals. Have briefly met the owner and he also was a really genuine good guy. I would frequent the store more often but unfortunately I live outside of Dunedin. But I make the effort to call in regularly whilst in town. Their range of products is quite extensive, ranging from high end mods to starter kits and pods. Their selection of juices is very impressive, and their testing station is fantastic. I often forget that it exists so have a laugh with Nick when he points out that I can actually try a juice rather than ask him about it. Although VAPO is Dunedin's newest Vape Shop, they've definitely shot to the top of the charts in terms of price, customer service, and selection. If you haven't already been in to see the team, get on down, you won't be disappointed!

Visiting Dunedin from Auckland and ran into the vapo to grab some pods for my vape. I explained I wasn’t overly happy with my current device but wasn’t sure where to start looking at other options. Sam, listened to what I was after and offered me the greatest option - it was even on special so he was obviously not trying to just upsell me. I wanted to write and acknowledge his EPIC service and finding me a vape that works PERFECTLY. Thanks Sam!!

Great advice and good excellent products with really great sale items!

My partner and I went into Vapo on the Main Street in dunedin today (16/04) and the chick working there was possibly one of the best examples of what people working customer-facing jobs should be. She was so helpful, patient and sweet. So much so that I felt compelled to leave a review just for her. Impressed.(The range of devices and juices is also awesome, try Crush honey mango and peach)

Never leave reviews because I dont like kicking up a fuss. Came into the store early on a Sunday morning to look for a replacement vape pod. Not a single person in the store. Instead of helping me out, I am told that people like me are constantly coming in and being a burden, not knowing what type of vape I have specifically as they stock 9 different types of caliburn. I ask if I can point out what my vape looks like and I get shrugged off and snickered at. Whenever I would speak it would just result in me being yelled at for being an inconvenience. I tell the sales man to calm down and that it's not necessary to talk to me like that. Then I realise why on earth I'm shopping at a store that has customer service where it's ok to yell agressively at people looking for a product. This is also not the first time this has happened, as I was treated the same last time I came in and I just wanted my usual vape juice, which I always get. I just assumed the guy was having a bad day but now, I think the guy just doesn't have the patience to work retail. Should probably check your attitude buddy. Lost a loyal customer unfortunately.Would just like to highlight that, it is not the topic of finding the right product that was the problem. More the staff members attitude, harsh tone of voice, body language such as having a grumpy/angry face and belittling energy that was uncalled for and unproductive. Had the staff member used a friendly manner, developed positive rapport with the me to work out the device model together, we could have achieved a positive interaction. At times it felt like I was interacting with a barking dog that wouldn't calm down. Found a much more friendly and helpful experience down the road that was willing to help. Such a shame.

Once an angry customer, today a supported local. Had an issue with a vape I bought and acted in a poor manner. Went in today a fully resolved my issue. Malcolm and his staff truly did go above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and my business appreciated. Sincerely humbled by my experience with them and have changed my rating from 2 stars to 5, and would recommend going in to see them! Great range, and great prices! I’ll definitely be back. And advise anyone to check out their store first!

Great friendly staff with amazing knowledge and advice. Make you feel very welcome upon entry and aren't just after the sale but rather about guiding you in the right direction. Two thumbs up guys!

Went in not knowing what I wanted to look for, an amazing woman helped me out to buy not only a device but also recommended some great flavors. Made shopping actually fun.
