Absolutely gorgeous area with beautiful bird song and a fascinating historic tree. The shorter walk was good and my 75 year old father managed it with no difficulty.

Special feelings here. Nice small walk. Bit of Maori history.... Tapu. Very old trees in here too.

A special place, where ancient trees are felt before seen. There is a real and palpable sense of presence, well, for those that have this kind of other sense.Time within this reserve, where the silence is natural, bird life becomes the symphony surrounding the olde woods.We've heard kiwi in the mornings, and Kereru and Tui frequent the mid layers.

Fantastic, beautiful and majesticWhilst not a very big domain, it takes you back centuries to another world before settlers had cleared most of the native Bush and forests.
