We are a design and build interior fit out company and often have very tight time frames to attain and Christchurch Removals has always managed to meet each and every deadline without fail.Over the past 3 years due to the Christchurch Earthquakes we have been asked by numerous clients to undertake several rush relocation's of earthquake damaged offices to allow these companies to get up and operating as soon as possible. BE WARNED if you use Christchurch Removals. We used them for removal and storage while our home was getting earthquake repairs. They have failed to return some very expensive items.They have admitted that an employee has stolen from us and the matter has been reported to Police. To date no satisfactory offer has been made to resolve this issue. This has been extremely costly and stressful for us. Unfortunately given the attitude of Christchurch Removals Ltd we are not hopeful of a resolution anytime soon and believe a Judge/Court action will be required to facilitate any action.THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE USED if they are not prepared to deal with this problem in a business like manner.It is interesting to see advertised on the Christchuch Removals Ltd website an offer of money back". This is absolutely NOT TRUE and is FALSE ADVERTISING.We have asked for our money back due to our "Removal Experience" and they have not had the decency to contact us since we made this request.We will keep this website upto date if there is a compensation agreement made in the near future meantime be aware."

My fridge, office desk and office door frame were damaged during the move. After 6 weeks of trying to talk to someone, I have been told there is nothing they can do about it. The removal man took a photo of fridge (the only thing I wanted fixed) and promised to sort it. I would not recommend this company.

I used Steve and his gang whilst helping businesses clear out large amounts of valuable and often private material and files from red zone commercial property.There guys were careful and concious of the material they were removing and kept a thorough inventory for each area and company, making it east to retrieve from storage at a later date.Quick, efficient, and at competetive price I'd happily use them again for personal or business removals. To top off the guys were polite and easy to deal with as well as being very safety concious given the red zone environment.Cheers
