We had a delicious falafel salad and a slice of orange cake here. As well as coffee and a glass of wine. Really enjoyed it. Well done!

We grabbed a quick bite here in town. Nice sandwich and pastry selection with lots of beverage options. Indoor and outdoor cafe seating. Gifts and food items for purchase. A pleasant place for a stop.

I visited on a recommendation and I was not disappointed. The salads were lovely and fresh. I had a small dish of both choices,, namely a Thai salad and an asparagus and egg. I also had a lovely slice of carrot cake which was moist and delicious. The shop stocks different brands of tea and deli products. There is also a small outside court yard where you can sit and eat/drink. I would go again.

The 3 berries smoothie was so good. Got a cabinet croissant both times I've eaten here and was always pleased with what I got. Staff is always very kind.

This is a delicatessen which offers up away from the the Main Street bustle a delightful coffee bar where you can enjoy your surroundings whilst sipping a very tasty flat white. I usually pick a single item from the cabinet and can certainly say everything I have tasted to date is very good. These have ranged from muffins, scones, brioches, almond croissants to the likes of almond and orange cake. The staff without exception are friendly and polite and give excellent service. This is a great plus in Covid times.Ambrosia is at the highest level in the Whanganui coffee scene and deserves full houses.

Food was lovely order was not correct. Staff should repeat final order to customer to ensure they haven't missed anything. Two bagels sounds very different to one. We shared and didn't buy another.
