Excellent food, a great variety. A huge selection of Filled Baggettes which are the best I've had in many years. Longer than most as well as far cheaper than most places.Excellent pies with beautiful crust and nice filling, and great variety. Nicely priced.Beautiful raspberry donuts that literally melt in your mouth. Nice custard squares.Nice tea and coffee. Extremely busy place with some of the best prices in Wellington CBD.The staff are very friendly welcoming and helpful.It seems to be the place to go for Wellingtons Public Servants.Highly recommended.

An egg, cheese and lettuce filled baguette, so simple but so tasty! $4. I used to come occasionally for the cream donuts which are also yum, but discovered this office worker favourite on my day off. Be prepared to queue if you come at 12 pm but the service is fast. Will return for the baguettes!

Great soup for winter and all the normal bakery fixings. Love being able to get a pie or sandwich for a good price in the CBD. Pretty rare.Stop in and get a sandwich or savoury. Or try their soup of the day :)

This is a nice little Cafe and the food is fairly well priced too. Nice pies & only $3.50 each.Edited 27 AprilGot a steak & mushroom pie today, nice pie but the steak was rather tough and chewy so I've dropped it down a Star.Feb 2023Like everywhere else the prices have gone up... when will it stop? Soon we won't be able to afford anything.But still nice mince pies... $4.00. now.

This cafe offers the best french style baguette that I have tasted so far in New Zealand. The price is incredibly cheap, and the owners are super friendly. For Vietnamese people, this will satisfy your hunger for authentic 'banh mi thit'

Five stars just for the flapjacks - delicious pillowy pancakes rolled and filled with cream and jam - plus a wee berry surprise in the middle. Who could not award that top marks?!If you don’t give five stars I give you NO stars. Check yourself coz you’ve already wrecked yourself!

I love this traditional lunch bar. Good simple food always fresh and wholesome. The staff welcome you as if you're family. Exceptional business where if they run out of your favourite you will see them go out back to the kitchen and make it fresh. How many eateries do that nowadays?
