Edited April 23 - it's still runbish, arguably worse. Stock levels are pretty hit and miss (compared to other stores that haven't got the same issue), often have very few checkouts open which takes ages, never seem to bother packing bags anymore even though they have never reduced their prices to account for the reduced service

smaller than other countdown, some times product range and stock are not quite adequate but service is pretty good and also very local to me. i find most produces are fresher than new world.

It’s my regular supermarket to do grocery shopping but today I had very bad experience from one of the staff at self check outs.I asked lady at self checkout that if she can scan her one card as I forgot to carry mine and she showed me attitude saying why you don’t have one card?And swiped and went with an attitude.Not acceptable. Worst customer service I have ever received from countdown staff in years.

Plenty of staff milling around but only one checkout open processing a huge order for a dairy. Didn’t bother to open another checkout for any other shoppers and eventually rung up my packed trolley through the express checkout which was difficult as no space to pack my $300 order.

I visited around 8.15pm on a Saturday night. A great time to shop as virtually no one there. What a depressing store! No upbeat music, staff looking miserable, checkout person told me it was because they have a new manager. They need some customer service training, and learn how to make the customer feel welcome

This is the only business in Mt Roskill that I do not enjoy shopping at and unfortunately it's my local. Such a poor selection of staple products. The place is generally like an obstacle course with cardboard boxes and pallets blocking the aisles. Wuth a couple of exceptions the staff are unhelpful and just do not seem to care. The only plus is the self service checkouts.

My local countdown and I like how convenient it is. Off late however, every single time, I have noticed that their advertised price and the price at the till don’t match. So many items are advertised for a lower price but what you end up paying is different if you don’t check.

Clean tidy nice workers.Found stuff that I couldn't get in south Auckland. Nice to see different stuff.A lovely big store with lots of space.

Countdown lynfield is another great supermarket. It has everything you need, a well stocked supermarket with fruit, veges, seafood, cakes, beer and wine etc..
