I’d like to say big thank you to reception at emergency for seeing me so fast . An exceptional thanks to doctor Arron and mason who looked me last night . I’m wish you both well in the future . Doctor Arron spoke with such confidence and knowledge . He’s the best and put my mind at rest . Your a credit to the nation as far as I’m concerned .

Mocked by a nurse for wearing a mask. Just don't get sick or injured if you're at risk of covid I guess. Good luck!

Could give them zero stars if I had to. The nurse who came in was so racist. A lady has been crying for over an hour and these security guys are just all looking at her and laughing, making comments like she is possessed. Joke of a place, more like a circus like some others here have described. I better say to people have health insurance and go to private hospitals, maybe something might improve, here all you see is waste of tax payers money!!

Waste of time, they have only 2 doctors in night shift and avg waiting time is 10 hours.Waiting time in day is around 4 to 7 hours.Better to find a private hospital.

the emergency room reception is very slow, the nurses are talking and talking, no one has time. The simple patient has to wait for several hours to realize that his illness was not dangerous.

Received me quickly very early morning and brought the specialist in within 15 minutes to perform a small local (but painful) surgery to fix hemorrhaging from a recent surgery. Felt very cared for in my erratic and frightened state as I had lost a lot of blood already. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience and the staff there, particularly the nurse Maya and resident Kevin (?)

What is this circus? Receiving tax payer's money and this is the level of service??? A pregnant woman with infected eyes and in sever pain should wait more than 2.5 hours for her turn? Incompetency all over the place...

What a shambles, I feel for the staff but this is below standard, my daughter is in a high risk category for her pregnancy, we had a doctors referral, on arrival we were told the wait would be 8-10 hours! We had to wait 3 hours in triage, to be taken through to wait in another room for 4 hours for her to be seen by a doctor - that is 7 hours, to then be told by the doctor can you give me a few minutes to see what we can give you to take home that will help you" we waited for the doctor to return for 2 hours she never came back so we asked to leave! at that point as it was 2.30am - we left without seeing the doctor again - 9 hours total."

Presenting with a numb spine and electric shocks in my spine and complications after surgery and denied treatment or any investigations . The symptoms are bad a scan should have been done and now I'm getting worse . That us malpractice if you result in further injury or loss of income !! It's my spine . Also told nothing neurological but I have already been diagnosed with something neurological also got put in for gallbladder removal and then just before I went for surgery the nurse checked me again and said I didn't need the surgery . Dodgy as and really bad doctor's that can't even check you properly and diagnose you ! Also favoritung certain people !

This is the worst medical places ever. There’s always a wait time of 10 hours. Health care industry is one of the most paid industries in newzealand. But all i saw was people staff siting in the corner of the offices and other areas resting relaxing and chatting of their personal stuff.-My partner was really unwell she could barely breath, pain and barley holding up.- many other patients left after staying in the waiting room for more than 7 to 8 hours.- more than 3 hours to get an ice pack and never got them.- been here 3 times for the past few months for emergencies every single time the had only 1 doctor as they mentioned and shes trying to do things betterI don’t know if this is true but I’ve heard that the hospitals keep patients waiting due to they have to show some sort of proof so that they can get funds from government or something but again i don’t know if its true
