I'll let you in on a little secret that I've been hiding for ~5 years now.. This is my favourite fish and chips shop in all of the Wellington regionThey have the freshest fish that breaks off in beautiful flaky-but-tender chunks, wrapped in a package of yummy golden brown batter. And the chips are perfect - crisp on the outside and fluffy on the insideTheir fish and chips are consistently amazing, their service is simple, polite, and fast. Worth driving across town for!

The place itself is a bit run down but the fish was excellent, the chips were plentiful and tasty and the price was good.

Great fish n chips, recommended. Battered fillet (cod) was great, normal fish was good too. Both normal chips and Kumara chips were very good. Service was quick. Just as good as my usual local (Kingston Takeaways which was closed today).

WOW! If you're a newtown local of COURSE you have heard of LEO'S Seafood, only the hottest place in newtown to get the yummiest chips. There is a good mix of triangle and square chips, so dont be freaked out! i love thier veggies rolls and crumbed fish. Now THATS a taste of summer
