Most delicious fish and chips in my life. Not oily but also crispy batter.Usually I get heartburn after fish and chips, but this one didn't give me any.

My partner and I ordered battered snapper with a hotdog and chips. The fresh snapper melted in the mouth along with the crisp light batter. Chips were awesome aswell as hotdog. Best fish and chips! Highly recommend whenever you come through to Maketu. We even got gifted a box of homemade bread! Beautiful people, beautiful meal and beautiful place. We will definitely be back!

Proceed with caution. If I could give zero stars I would. We ate here today and had the fish (trevally) with chips and 2 milkshakes. Without doubt the worst feed of fish and chips we’ve both ever eaten in our lives. To make it worse, the milk in the milkshakes must have been off as we are now both ill and have been for the last 3 hours. This place used to be awesome - now its only worthy of two words - Never Again.

I often stop in here after walking my dog at the beach. Fish and chips always fresh and tasty, burgers are great and if you're lucky they'll have some fried bread - it sells out quickly apparently, im not surprised.. yum!the ladies there are lovely too.

The fish tasted off. Could smell it though the packet before we opened it. Disappointing considering we paid 35 dollars for 2 fish, hot dogs and chips. The hot dogs and chips were good though
