Rang today to check if lamppost which I gave them the number of on roadside of our section that we are building on was live. Was told that the power was underground and the lamppost was a Chorus lamppost.We have a macracarpa hedge which has engulfed the pole and was very close to the wires and have seen in their advertising not to touch trees that are within 2.5 metres of live wires. The information given from Unison was totally incorrect and could have had serious consequences. This was my whole reason for contacting them. Very dangerous!!
