Ashburton Holiday Park & Lodge

Good place to stop in a motorhome. Good showers and kitchen facilities. Plenty of space and external activity area's around the site

We stayed for 3 nights on a nice caravan site. Toilets and showers were just a hop skip and jump away. Was nice seeing some big groups being able to camp together and the lodge looked very nice (we walked past it to have a look). For such a huge camping ground we found it lacked toilets and showers as the main one used was near the kitchen and the others (we only saw the ones by the backpackers and the one further down by the lodge - not sure where the 4th one was) we too far away from where we were and the kitchen needs to be triple the size. All in all it’s a great spot and would recommend it as there was lots of room to play and run around, the duck pond is full of ducks. Best thing is Dogs are welcome so there were lots of furry kids wondering around on leads all happy as can be.

A large area to park with clean modern facilities and friendly helpful staff. The duck pond and domain are an added bonus. We have visited twice recently while in the area and expect we will be back again.

Best campsite we've been to so far! The facilities are all new and clean. The showers were amazing and the kitchen was the best we encountered so far in NZ. There is even a community garden with herbs and salads and stuff! It's a huge area with lots of space and ifyou park clever in front of the hedge than you wake up in the shade, which is really nice in summer. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but would have loved to stay longer.

Beautiful place to stay nice and quiet big space local pools and park close by. Clean kitchen and toilet block hot showers that are not on timers. One of the best laundry that I have used clean and the drier gets hot. Thank you Ashburton hoilday Park.

Visited over the busy new year time.A very large campground for campers and caravans.Powered sites. Water taps.Utility buildings with limited toilets and showers. Kitchen block is good but also limited seating and available fridge freezer space.Small laundry area with one clothes line and pegs.Tidy sites.Not too far from town but take the car.

Really nice spot to stay in. Nice and quiet in a picturesque setting. Only a few minutes from Ashburton town itself, which is really nice as it meant we were out of the hustle and bustle. Very friendly staff. Facilities are clean and well kept. Would recommend

One of the best Holiday Parks so far! I spent 5 weeks in the Backpacker Lodge while I worked in the city. Comfortabele, wooden beds, big kitchen and a cozy TV room. For 20 $ per night great. And the nices Hosts you can imagine.
