gorgeous teapots and mugs of all kinds, good coffee, good people, small but good sitting area. Door and entrance and sitting area is wheelchair accessible

This place is hands down worth 5 stars. The lovley staff will happily greet you, they have a never ending selection of teas, which the amazing Jordan helped me put together an advent calender with them for my partner. The coffee is the best in town by far and they always have yummy treats in the cabinet. Thank you to all staff at pomeroys for making life bearable with your tea, coffee and banter.

If there was a no star rating that is what I would have given you! You are a tea shop and you don't have proper tea infusers but you sell them! Instead you brew the tea for your customers - honestly how ridiculous. I would like to decide myself how weak or strong I want my tea!I made the mistake of having an afghan biscuit - it was stale, dry and old - I wonder how long that had been in the glass jar. And to top it all off, reading your reviews you think that charging men more than women is appropriate because they earn more?? What planet do you live on, you really have problem and I suggest you go and see someone about it!! This shop is a disgrace!!

You can smell coffee the moment you walk into Pomeroy's. I had a carrot cake, which was good although a bit sweet.

Pay 20% more buying coffee at Pomeroy's Montgomery square versus New World!. We paid just over $27.00 for 500gms of #2 Expresso grind at the shop. New World charges around $9.00 normal price for 200gms. Pomeroys confirmed their pricing.We can buy three 200gm packs for the same price for the 500gm. We want to support local businesses but we should not be gouged for doing so.Buyer beware!Thank for your prompt response. All coffees sell on normal price in the $9.00 range in New World, with specials down to $6.99 or similar. They would not sell their whole coffee range as a 'loss leader. Their GP's are usually about 40%+ which indicates your wholesale price to them is $4-5 dollars and your manufacturing cost lower of course. We have no objection to you making a profit

The entrance to the shop was very good. The smell of thick coffee beans was smelled. The staff also took a picture on the coffee. But the friends who were with me all had the same coffee. But she was not a bit disappointed. It was waiting for the shop to be improved.

Crikey, if you want to choose a great coffee from a superior range, and drink it in a cosy, friendly, almost old-world coffee shop sort of atmosphere, seek out Pomeroys tucked in the car-park corner. No rat-race here. Fabulous place to go with your significant other, your mum, or for a quiet conversation. Browse the wall of coffee appliances and accessories, and have a great laugh at their choice of humorous greetings cards. Smiley staff, and warm on a cold day. Yesss.
