Nice new building, same lack of staff.

There has always been an issue having to use this branch, several times we pay for our rates we found it difficult to discuss with this lady she's at teller 1 the latest one is the parcel we ask for shipment to otago i specifically ask her politely if there is an option to get it deliver overnight having to pay 32$ and i only found out that there is a way to get it overnight on saturday its just that its gonna cost around 50$ the money is not the issue its the service. I re iterated if there is another way but the lady insisted that's the only option having to know that there is another. option. End up we lost an important customer berated by this event.

Specifically asked for courier service with address written for courier delivery, yet it was handled as regular mail and ended up being returned as it used the incorrect address. Cost us over a week only to have it returned to sender for a time critical parcel.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!Been there to ask if we can courier phones to canada and we have told yes you can so we decided to courier 2 phones few other items to canada paid $178 for express deliver 7 days later received call from them saying that parcel is held by the customs because you cant send phones in parcel as they are prohibited items, asked me for bank account details so they can refund me my money, guess what its been months and half now i have received refund and my package. I don’t know where it is. I have called nz post customer care so many times they keep changing storiesIst time they said i will receive my parcel in 2 days i called them after a week they said now it will take 2 weeks and 2 weeks go, i called them again today and i have told it will take up to 3 months to get my parcel and they may not refund courier fee $178. Lady on the phone was so rude she even said its your fault that i didn’t check the list of the prohibited items on their website and she clearly said you shouldn’t trust us.And forgot to i even requested for a call from the nz post shop store manager guess what? Im still waitingEnough is enough !!!!This is non completely non sense!Im taking taking this matter further# Avoid NZ Post

Why can't you be close at 5pm??? Have you ever consider students who cannot be free until 3:30pm?

I’m visiting Christchurch and was expecting a post shop in the Mall,why isn’t there one there..doesn’t make senseFound out about this place snd hunted high and low walking to it as it’s not yr typical PO type placeWhy isn’t the building painted in PO colours or st least have large sign on the side of it ..I was walking from the MallI found it after 25 minutes going here and there ,scanned in and then asked for post bags to send mail to AustraliaThey had run out of bags !! This is a Post ShopNO A4 BAGS of any kind,They blamed it on covid ..really..we have all lived in a covid environment for 18 months..by now that should not be an excuseThe lady did give me an old used bag,and offered scrap paper to stuff/fill box ,so for that I was gratefulIn the end I left snd went to Eastgate where they had lots of bags and lotsa serviceNo wonder this place has 1 star ratingsFortunately I don’t have to go back again

Prices were poorly advertised, was bitterly shocked by the price of simple shipping. #whosprofitting
