Much better than countdown we walked out of there and came to new world. Would you believe I got most of what I needed unlike countdown which was rubbish.

Great supermarket packed with goods. Fresh produce and a large range of food products. We pop in there to buy a picnic lunch instead offer visiting one of Cambridge's many overpriced cafe's. New World has a large range of both hot and cold foods such as pies, pizza slices, sandwiches, almond croissants, slices and cakes. We went early December and they gave my daughter a few Christmas goodies for no reason...just because.

Shame, amazing staff apart from one who takes it upon himself to stare/glare at regular customers. Left a message to talk to management/HR who weren't available at the time, however they didnt bother to return my call.No problem, I can shop at your competitors supermarket.

Very friendly staff, especially checkout ladies and guys.Excellent home baked buns ecetera.However, the Danish pastries in the cabinet (near the fruit and veg area) are my favorite but not slathered with chocolate.It would be nice to have plain ones as a choice.

Smallish shop but seemed to stock most stuff. Had everything that we wanted. Not too busy. Wonderful friendly man at the door offering us a trolley and a good day.

Lovely store well set out & comparably priced. Some very good bargains. My disappointment came when paying, to be told we don't do Gold card" Now I've shopped in many areas from Tauranga to Kaitaia & on Pension day have always been offered Gold card discount.Come on Cambridge New World join the many others including Countdown in this"
