Woodside Bush

Negotiations are under way between Panuku and Counties Manukau District  Health Board to create a straight connection for parts of Puhinui Stream Trail, and this Woodside Bush is proposed as a pathway location.But I think it needs to be taken through an open field for security purposes.  For a sense of safety.Perhaps Superclinic itself will not approve of the allocation of land on the other side of the stream, adjoining Superclinic. And most likely Counties Manukau District Health Board will sell to the Council  this plot for the shared foot and cycleway. With the cutting down the Native Bush on the north side of Puhinui Stream.Once the site was fenced off from the field, where cows and bulls grazed. This made it possible to grow planted native shrubs and plants. Which would otherwise be eaten by livestock.Over time, this section of the valley of the Puhinui stream turned into a piece of ancient Woodside Bush that once grew here.The area is prone to flooding, so there is no chance it will ever be converted to residential or commercial property and will remain a reminder of the ancient Woodside Bush that covered the valley.
