Went for dinner with wife and brother inlaw, I had the lamb shank mash potatoe and Veges . Wife had crumbled mushrooms. Brother-in-law law had the fettuccine. Very generous portions and very enjoyable. Definitely go back again.

Good basic + food. in so far that there is that little more available if requested. Meal was showing fish and mash with veges. I requested fries instead of fries and was given the option of salad or veges ,no problem. Service was punctual and pleasant. Décor was in keeping with the name, some areas looked a little tired, but not a problem.

We had lunch here today and really enjoyed the food. My wife and I had pan-fried fish, our grand-daughter had chicken nuggets and our son had eggs Benedict. Everyone enjoyed their food, it was perfectly cooked and presented and the waitress was really friendly and accommodating. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

I have had a few things here now and always pleased well done served and presented with care.Special note the seafood chowder is top 3 in the world I have ever had and nothing in nz even come close to how good this is

Was absolutely amazing. Greeted by friendly staff and taken straight to our table on a busy Saturday (we had booked and would probably recommend as was very busy) Companion had the kumara burger and it was delicious. I had the platter for 2" which was phenomenal decent portion of each item and all were delicious. We then had desserts and they were very tasty. All the staff were very nice too. Will definitely be back!"

This is our family ‘go to’ restaurant. The prices are good, the food delicious, the owners are a lovely family that work hard to make the experience great every time. Do not go past the beer batter fries, but a wide selection of food and wine to suit all tastes. Thanks Raj, Monica and team.
