I emailed at 9pm and was contacted by 9am the following morning. Everything was done with good quality and efficiently. The builder was super helpful in explaining the report and admin were quick with all communications. Will definitely just stick with these guys in the future.

I would recommend Property Check Ltd to anyone purchasing a property and/ or needing a property inspection. We used Property Check several times for the pre purchase property inspections. Every time we requested a full detailed report and every time it was money very well spent. The inspector was super thorough, professional and his attention to detail was second to none. Because of the thorough, detailed reports we managed to negotiate the purchase prices down and saved ourselves several thousand $$. Fabulous service, best in Christchurch.

We ordered a detailed report for our house prior to attending the auction. The report was thorough and identified a range of small issues with the house which we weren’t aware of, even though we had viewed it several times. It also outlined some risks associated with the building's construction which was very useful. The comprehensive report and a discussion with the inspector, made it easy for us to make a decision about purchasing the property. The inspector was professional and respectful and the two day turnaround for the report was very helpful.

Highly recommend.I've had the pleasure of helping Darin and Cathy with the dictation of their property check reports via my office support business. Cathy has been wonderful to work with and has excellent communication regarding training on how to do their reports, deadlines, and any other info I've needed to complete the job. She's always communicated with me promptly. I've appreciated that they've always paid my invoices before the due date. Overall they have been my dream client!If ever I needed a property check done, I would certainly use Property Check. Their reports are thorough, easy to interpret and follow, and include a lot of photos of precise issues.

As a vendor looking to see what we could do presale, and also wanting a report to offer potential buyers, I found Property Check to be too negative. Potential issues that may never arise were dealt with in detail, while the report lacked positive attributes. A photographic error with poor explanation in the report caused significant distress. I would have been better with another company

What a great service we received from certified Property Inspector Darin Devanny! The report was very detailed (although it was called Express Report") with relevant photos and moisture metre reading of every part of the house. It left no questions unanswered. The report is easy to understand and doesn't feature liability waivers like other reports do. The report by Property Check gave our prospective buyers a lot of confidence in the solid structure of our house which is 100 years old. The term "express" clearly refers to the turnaround time

THEY DON'T PROVIDE MOISTURE READING DATA IN THE REPORT!! BEWARE! There's a clause buried in the Terms and Conditions that states they WILL NOT provide moisture level readings in the report if (in their opinion) the moisture levels recorded are of an acceptable level (??) . You pay a TON of money for the peace of mind to know that your house is weather tight and they WITHHOLD critical information.
