St Patrick's Basilica
Used to be a beautiful basilica with a choir loft and organ. It has been almost ruined since the 'restoration'. I am glad the Stations of the Cross are still up, as is the big mural behind the high altar. Unfortunately everything is in great need of some TLC; statue and Stations are filthy and the walls, though they may look hundreds of years old, have actually been left unfinished because of lack of funds. If you can ignore the fake altar in the middle of the church and the chairs that sit you with your back to Our Lord then you may be able to appreciate the former glory of this church.

Stunning! Got married here too. Looks even more amazing now that they have started repainting it. Highly recommend a visit.

This is a church we go 2 on a Saturday night. From 6pm-6:30pm. Very friendly place, songs n prayers. Kid friendly. Parking on premises n on st. Wheelchair friendly

We attended the RSA Choir's Concert on Matariki afternoon. Warm building, very comfortable seats. The RSA young Scholars were of a very high standard and blended with the choir who performed at the wonderful level we had gone to enjoy.Thanks to all concerned.
