Cashmere Hill Lookout
An easy bus ride from the city & directly adjacent to the bus stop, this is the perfect place to see ALL of Christchurch from one spot. Also a great vantage point from which to watch the sunset =)

Cashmere Hill Lookout is a great place to get a view of the Christchurch city. It was peaceful there in the evening, although at this time it was really cold and windy.

Cashmere Hill Lookout
A nice heritage building is near the lookout site, which is on top of a concrete water tank. The lookout is a few minutes walk from the heritage building. The view of Christchurch and the countryside is great, though it wasn't a clear day when I visited. On a clear day the lookout should be great, and well worth a visit. The heritage building has a cafe, and serves snacks and drinks. Thank you.

Known as Sign of the Takahe, except I never seen any Takahe up here in my life. Great views, unfortunately no longer do their famous Devonshire Teas. Current restaurant downstairs I give a miss.

The building is beautiful so much character, the cafe was rather expensive but nothing stopping you from taking a picnic up to be in awe of the amazing views.
