Nice camping, you can stay in a tent or a car/caravan, there’s all flat. $10 per person per night unpowered. There’s powered sites too. The kitchen and bathroom are ok for the price, not the cleanest, not the best. But the hot showers are free and unlimited. There’s a washing machine for $2, no dryer but space to tent your clothes. The owner Bruce is frendly and seems a nice guy. Recommend

The manager did everything he could to make our stay lovely, and succeeded, nice spot only problem our caravan is 8 mtrs and a bit to big for site we scraped going in and leaving also unable to get out without motor movers, not enough room to get around with ute on front. 50 a night powered 2 adults

It's a really friendly quiet site. It has limited but very clean amenities. We always use it when in Whanganui. We love Caroline boathouse bar an bistro adjacent to the site. There's also a fish and chip shop near too.

Lovely cosy little campsite. Clean, homely facilities and near a great bar. Bruce was very welcoming and we felt very comfortable here. Shame we can't take the campsite with us for the rest of our trip!

Nice place, Bruce is a cool chap with a lovely home! However the train went past twice in the night and the next door neighbors dogs were barking and whining at any time of day. That said, the price and facilities are very good. Just bring ear plugs in case you are a light sleeper.

$40.00 cash for an unpowered site felt like a rip off. Hot shower.

We loved everything about the campsite. Owner is super friendly, facilities are great! We decided to stay an extra night because we really liked it. The cats and chickens were super cute :)

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights. $20 per person per night (unpowered site). If you're alone or stay only one night, it's probably $30 bucks per night. Kitchen and bathroom are clean. Hot shower is good. Also had quite night here. However, the facility is quite limited. There is only stove in the kitchen. No microwave, no toaster either. It's inconvenient for a traveller/backpacker who needs heat their food or toast bread.
