We absolutely love the home we created with latitude homes Otago Southland. They were very professional to work with and even during a lot of tough times in the building industry nothing was ever a problem and they always helped us solve a problem if we encountered one. Absolutely recommended using this team for your next build. I would definitely use latitude again in the future.

Our family decided to build with Latitude homes after looking around several different building companies. They stood out for many reasons - from the moment we walked into their show home, they have done nothing but go above and beyond. Nothing was a problem and their attention to detail was outstanding. This is not our first build but was by far our easiest and favourite. We have been in our house for a year now and are still yet to find anything that we are unhappy with or would change. We knew that building during a pandemic was going to cause some issues along the way but Latitude homes were ahead of the curve and ensured they did all they could to foresee and prevent any delays.We were able to change their plans to suit our own needs and they were more than happy to accommodate any changes we made along the way. Our project manager's eye for detail was amazing - nothing was complete until both ourselves and our project manager were absolutely happy with it.Thanks for creating our forever home Latitude!

Highly recommend using the team at Latitude Homes! Kurt was very helpful in suggesting ideas for budget constraints. Very reliable and prompt communication. We couldn't be happier with our home, and would happily build with these guys again!

We have completed our 2nd house build, the first was 40 years ago with Otago Timber. We decided to build again instead of buying an existing house as you know what you are getting with a new build. We decided to go with Latitude as the plan we picked, the Wingatui was exactly what we wanted.Unfortunately the issues with our first home build were the same as with the Latitude build. Material delays cost over runs on materials and back then there wasn't a pandemic.It was lucky we employed our own builder who did an excellent job. He kept us up to date with what was happening with the build and stayed within his budget.There was some great work done from Jess at Latitude. She kept us up to date with cost increases, aluminium price increase being one. What we weren't told about was the more than double increase in the price of the chimney cowl from then $3000 I had already paid for to over $6000. As this was the quoted price the company building it should have honoured it + 20%. I decided not to pay the extra price.It seemed that once you had signed the contract with Latitude they did not want to have anything else to do with you. The contract person at Latitude should have had fortnightly meetings with the owners and the builder to make sure things were tracking ok.Overall things processed well, you are always going to have issues with your local council, that is how they work.We now have completed the house.My advice is to use your own trusted builder things will go smoother.

We built with the team in 2021 , they have a team of highly skilled trades companies who were on time and the workman ship and communication was great!Nothing was a problem and our Rural needs for Tanks and septic were not a problem, we were able to customise our plans to suit our large family easily.All products supplied were of really high quality and the pricing very reasonable.WE ARE SO HAPPY IN OUR QUIET WARM BEAUTIFUL HOME THANK YOU!

I built my first home with Latitude Homes Otago in 2020.Kurt and his team based in Mosgiel were always responsive to all of my questions in a professional and timely manner. This was important, especially building a first home and needing relevant documents exchanged promptly.Latitude homes were realistic and honest throughout the entire building process regarding pricing and how long each process was likely to take and because of their expertise in the building industry, what they informed me was often correct.The house I built with Latitude Homes Otago was one of their plans called 'Motu'. Kurt and his team were very responsive towards any changes and variations I wanted to make in customizing the plan to suit my needs, for example instead of having three double rooms, they allowed me to change the plan to make one large master room , one double room and one single room. Other changes included making the double room wardrobe smaller and this allowed for an extra utility storage space in the lounge.A complementary color consult at Silk & Willow Mosgiel was provided by Latitude Homes Otago and this made that entire part of the process really enjoyable. I was truly astounded just how easily it all came together. Choosing the kitchen scheme was probably the most challenging stage of the build, but I never felt pressured to make a decision in a hurry or one that I didn't like. In fact quite the opposite, I upgraded the kitchen surfaces to a 'euro edge' and Latitude Homes Otago enabled this variation to go ahead without any complication.The completed house is warm, dry and low maintenance. Nothing at all was ever a problem, I felt listened to and respected by Kurt and his team all the way. Building a new home I really couldn't ask for more. Latitude Homes Otago really do live up to one of their business motto's ''Too easy'' !The team at Latitude Homes Otago are a down to earth, honest and reliable building company with genuine integrity to see me right throughout the entire building process.I am a happy client of Latitude Homes Otago and I highly recommend them to anyone contemplating building within in the Otago region.

We have recently finished building with Kurt and Jess from Latitude in the South Island. To say we have been impressed is an understatement. We have been blown away by their patience, attention to detail and consideration for our family and this whole experience for us. Manu the project manager has been incredible and all the contractors on time and professional. From the signing of the contract with a bottle of bubbles and a ‘how to build a house’ book for the kids to fortnightly progress updates with photos and then finally the most amazing gift basket on key handover. We have come in under budget and into our home two weeks early. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this such an enjoyable experience and creating a beautiful new family home for us. We worked with the Otago team to build our new home and we couldn't be happier with the result. Communication during the process was extremely helpful from Jess and the team - and any questions we had were answered promptly - which made us feel part of the process. Latitude Homes Otago provided exceptional customer service from the very beginning, communication was always prompt and we were provided regular updates throughout the building process.This enabled an easy and streamline process, which was particularly important to us given the complexities the Covid 19 pandemic brought to the building industry, but also because we were overseas residents during this time.Our conceptualised design has turned into a beautiful family home for which we are very grateful for.
