It’s all-you-can-eat with a difference. Food is cooked while you wait. There’s pancakes, seafood, meats, ice cream, jelly, vegetables, and a great selection of sauces. The place is also licensed (cocktails, wine, etc). The kids loved the options and combinations. Will visit again!

It was ok… lack of staff made for an average experience, but the staff were there, were efficient.Food was fresh, but the bill for 4 was horrific, considering we went to Lone Star the next night and had an extra person, and it was only $12 more for another meal and drink!Can’t say we’d come back, to be fair. Clean enough, but for the price? Not worth it.

We have been to Gengy's all over the North Island , this one is right up there with the best but with twice the room . The variety of food was unbelievable . And did i mention the sea food it was so fresh . The staff throughout were of the highest quality . The system that was in place once you are seated had been will worked out . They give you a card with 2 # on , table # & guess # . You go select a variety of food take to BBQ give them your card and go back to your table and wait for your meal to be delivered . No waiting in line , you wait relaxing at your table sipping on your wine aahh .

Great place with great food. Only reason haven't given it 5 stars is whilst it had an accessibility toilet, it did not have a baby changing tablet in it.

Some lady stole my food from the buffet and gave it to her husband (on purpose because she avoided eye contact and couldn’t get away fast enough) like, what if I had gotten hers and was severely allergic/intolerant to something in her creation or vice versa? Then the cooking staff had the audacity to yell at me to move down.

Not impressed at all. Arrived at peak of dinner time, there were probably two other tables there with not many people. Most of the food containers were empty, even the sal was empty. I took two bowls up like I usually do at other gengys and was told to only use 1 bowl to save dishes uhhhhh sorry but that’s not my problem. $39.99 to eat there a complete rip off . Do not recommend this place at all and only went there because of the good reviews.
