I took my son along to see Jo as he was about to enter year 12 and in year 13 when he was making final choices about tertiary education .Jo's guidance has been invaluable . Her knowledge of career paths options,courses available, current market demand for various skills, and her detailed analysis of my son's likelihood of being suited to a profession all contributed .I have recommended Jo's service to many of my friends .

Had a meeting with Jo when I was starting to look into what I wanted to study for University. She helped me figure out what I wanted to study and went through my options for Year 13 with me in order to give me the best chance of getting into my chosen course. She was so helpful and understanding!

Absolutely recommend... My son saw Jo at Career Sense in year 12 and he found it really helpful. The process helped him to understand his preferred values, skills, interests and academic strengths and where they aligned with different industries/qualifications/jobs. Plus, what he needed to take in year 13 to keep his options open. The resources we came away with will be a great help as he makes his future career decisions. Jo struck a nice balance between encouraging him to understand/decide on his own options and providing guidance based on her expertise and experience.

Best advice, figure out your own path in your own time, you're about to pay $400 for someone who you'll meet for 1 hour advice you or your kid on the most basic career options. Such a scam taking money from me a 18 Y/O past self, i was forced into saying yes to something so the counsellor could push me to pay. so so sad.

I regret asking! I was considering a career change and needed more information on creative jobs and how I could transfer into a new field. I got an aggressive phone call at 5:30 from Jo telling me to “do it myself” and to google the roles and just apply to one’s online and “it’s not hard”. Absolutely condescending and pathetic behaviour. I suggest to take the bad review to heart when they say this is a scam.Sorry you had a bad day Jo, and I hope you feel lighter now that you got to take it out on me!
