Mangakino Lakefront Reserve
It has a great playground and a couple of little food stall type places. The lake view was beautiful and a good place to let my dog have a little run around.

Beautiful trail by the river! 12,3 km to dam. Visited in march and nobody was there. Campground available.

Beautiful site for a picnic lunch. The food bus did great coffee and lively toasted sandwiches.

Beautiful park on the shores of Lake Maraetai. Clean, clear water. A fun water playground floating in the lake. Just happened to be jet boat sprints on when we stopped by. A little cafe called 'The Bus Stop' served coffee, ice creams, pizza etc. Perfect for water sports.

Love this spot, nice cool lake to cool down in on those hot days, plenty of shade great onsite Bus Cafe good facilities walking distance to local shops excellent walking & bike riding.
