On a MR2 run to Castlepoint and stopped in for lunch. Lovely meals at great prices and friendly helpful staff. Happy to recommend.

What an awesome spot tucked away on the way to castle point. We ended up just coming for a drink/toilet stop but had a great chat with the owners who were setting up for the rugby later that night. Genuinely lovely people and if we didn’t have to be in Wellington that night, I would have loved to stay longer.

Great cafe and bar, with great vibe and amazing staff. Turned up abit early before they opened and the owner went out of her way and made coffee before opening.Will be coming back for a proper afternoon experience soon

Local flavour.A character place in small town. A long way to go from Masterton) for a fairly ordinary meal though the John Dory was delicious.

It's a nice country Pub with a rare flavour for humour and great country food. Our hosts were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Best finger hash browns ever.
