Anglers Lodge Coromandel

Great spot , had many camping holidays growing up with family here. Happy childhood memories, and place hasn't changed too much in the last 40 years.

Honestly, you can't go wrong staying here. Was our first time and loved it, will definitely be back again. Met lovely people. The owners are awesome and we loved the boat launching service with their tractor. Mint, keep up the excellent work guys, and all the best until we see you again.

Excellent location across from the beach where we caught snapper off the shore.The grounds were well kept and as we were there in early December it was also quiet.Out unit (deluxe) had everything we needed, it was clean and fresh.We booked a charter with doors" a local fisherman.. we had a great time and caught lots of our target fish but kept only enough for a good feed. He looked after us well.Look forward to going back and doing that holiday again."

Awesome family fishing camp. Beautiful units too. Good facilities. Close to the mussel farms. Stunning sun sets. Camp has a lovely pool and a perfect swimming beach 2 mins up the road.

Stayed over the xmas period for 5 days. Staff were friendly and so helpful, really down to earth. Beautiful clean lodge with great amenities! Ben's Bluff was a quick 5 min walk with amazing views.

Not just a fishing lodge. Super modern. All new. Cleanest pool I’ve ever seen. Hosts warren and Jacqueline, and boys were awesome. Our family wanted to stay a week.

We just have stayed 2 nights, with my family and my parent... very clean accommodation and the place is right in front of super nice Coromandel ocean. This is one place we will never forget. Both the host Warren and Jacqueline are so nice and friendly. Highly recommended place and I will definitely come back for sure!!!Room was cosy and clean. Nothing much to complain.

My partner and I have been to Anglers twice now and each time the people and our experience was lovely. The unpowered sites are tucked out of the way and perfectly situated for views out over the bay. The lodge itself is only a short trip from Coromandel township and is a perfect home base for any day trips and adventures.We cannot say how much we love this place, it has now become our go-to get away if we ever feel the need to get out of the big city. The staff are friendly as always and you really do feel welcome and at home!We most recently stayed the weekend of before a Cyclone was due to hit NZ and the staff were incredibly reassuring and stayed in contact with us the whole time, even before we arrived to inform us about the local slips that had occurred due to the heavy rainfall experienced in late Jan. Can't commend this place more on their hospitality. The facilities are always clean and tidy, and the people are always nice. Don't think we'll be staying at a Top10 anytime soon.Thank you for having us! We'll definitely be back soon!

Fantastic spot. I stayed with a group the night before doing the Pahi Walk, and it was perfect with clean rooms, BBQ area, and lovely lookout for sunset. It would be great for after the walk, too, as there is a spa. I'm hoping to return with my family.
