Kids loved the archery. The attendant was great with them. No eftpos and 10ea for 3 arrows was pretty steep, kids would have liked axe throwing too. Good cause however - cancer society.

Like any responsible parent I decided to take my kids to archery practice and axe throwing. NZSSCS were offering a Grabone voucher which seemed a great deal. And honestly, the one hour session exceeded our expectations and Alexander, our host (and our trainer), was so entertaining! You definitely did get the opportunity to throw real axes and shoot real arrows. So few opportunities these days to do fun stuff like this as a family and at a reasonable cost, many thanks Alexander!

Very cool, the people were lovely and the axe throwing guy had an awesome energy and put on a fun character. Made the experience all the more enjoyable :^))

I have been an adult student of the school now for two seasons and participated in a bunch of fun classes. Archery, axe throwing, sword fighting, blade handling and group fighting for film. I've also attended one of the banquets and had a great night out. It's amazing that we have such a cool combat academy on the north shore. If like me, you're a big fan of Vikings, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, etc, then this is an awesome hobbie and makes you appreciate the effort that goes into the films even more. Big ups to Alexander and Co for giving everyone a unique opportunity to get involved.
