Smith & Smith Mt Maunganui

Took a car back here as they replaced a window a while back and it had popped off its glue, he fixed it free of charge and during a busy day when they had lots of cars to do thanks heaps

Picked my car up after the windscreen was changed, I was disappointed at the state it was left in, there was this black rubbery dust all over the car. It would go a long way for customer satisfaction if they had of cleaned the car off after the job. Not very good.

Dealing with Smith & Smith head office who you organise everything through, from your booking onwards has been anything but easy. The guys at the Mount were good to deal with, but thereafter, trying to get a refund from Smith & Smith NZ has been frustrating, and involved a lot of my time, phoning them, emailing them, and escalating to Team Leader, then Operations Manager who at the time of writing this I have not heard back from despite being told he would phone me straight back! Their customer service is a shambles, and should be renamed customer disservice!!

Very helpful service, went there for a chip to be sealed and 45 mins later it was done as they weren't busy!Thanks Jack and the team for a great Service. Cheers!

Absolute shambles this place. Had my windscreen replaced and as soon as I drove out of their driveway I could hear a large amount of air coming through the bottom of the windscreen and put my hand up to it and could feel the air. My windscreen had not been installed properly and I had to take it back to get it re done which was a bit of an inconvenience. After my windscreen was replaced the first time I watched the man who did it, race off as I was picking up my car, with what I would assume would be his girlfriend. Obviously in a rush to get away from work and my car was rushed. After the 2nd visit to get it fixed.... The 3rd visit.... As when my windscreen fogs up in the mornings etc, all I see is the 4 massive circles on my windscreen from the installation suction cups. I have called up other companies and they have confirmed this should not happen. I told Smith and Smith this and they just told me it needed cleaning... And proceeded to give it a good clean. Said it will be good to go.Was it? Nope. Still have the massive circles and when I called up customer care to complain, was told someone would get back to me, and they never did. Had to call up AGAIN to chase up. Was told to visit another centre and they would fix it.Didn't waste my time. Absolute time wasters and muck arounds.Only reason they got 2 stars instead of one is cause they were friendly enough to deal with the 3 visits I had

Called in to get a chip fixed, they were able to fix straight away, done quickly, service was great, insurance sorted quickly and done. Good visit all round.

Popped in to assess a window chip. Super friendly & informative guy helped me with booking details & insurance info. Returning the car today, young guy was very friendly & service was super quick. Stoked all round, good bunch of people you have there!

While the issue got resolved in the end, I had to take 4 trips to the store (total of over 200km) to get this corrected due to issues with the quality of the first repair and then incorrect windshield ordered. I struggled to get an apology from them plus my calls to Customer Service have not been returned. Altho they were pleasant on my final visit, I won't be dealing with them again. We all make mistakes, but this was incredibly poorly dealt with.
