Only about 40 minutes North of Auckland city, parking is limited on Summer weekends but easier during the week. Fully stocked local Dairy, great views of the Hauraki Gulf from beach.

One of the most picturesque beaches around Orewa. Stunning little town, and a visit to the bar/cafe at the hotel is highly recommended.

Great little slice of paradise. Great for kids to explore. Keep an eye out for endangered dotterels, they nest around here so just make sure you keep your distance. Occasionally you can find hot water coming onto the beach from springs under Waiwera. Shame they've shut the water park next door though.
