The store,the cafe,the play pen - all popular and well stocked ,organised ,clean and semi crowded. Visited to get started with a kiddy garden for my granddaughter. Got everything I needed under 1 roof.

Lots of products, easy to find, nice large building. Efficient check out service. I was surprised to learn it wasnt a brand new building as it still seems new.

Store is excellent well stocked and staff knowledgeable, however the café whilst having a good range of food could do with some good staff training, no smiles, no manners, food dropped on table without a word, no acknowledgment of thanks

I was so impressed by the knowledge and helpfulness of Miles in the hardware section. It was a pleasant experience and I was able to make informed purchases as a result. By comparison Most of my visits to hardware stores are frustrating experiences with I’ll informed and disinterested staff

I have been a customer with Mitre 10 Taupo and Mega Taupo for many years. Our local store is excellent, with a good range of stock and the best garden centre in Taupo. Some prices a bit on the high side but price matching helps here. Also now I'm retired small discounts on the Gold card and airports are small bonuses. Generally plenty of staff around and the older original staff like Gordon and Ken are worth their weight in gold for their knowledge.

Went in looking for fireplaces. They did not them but the sales lady was brilliant! Had a good chat and set off again. Lovely friendly atmosphere ☺

Helpful staff in Shop. Nicely laid out store easy to find things. Cafe however was nicely laid, was begrudgingly service. Might have been end of day service but not ok or welcoming. Food left in cabinet was tired and dried up. Not up to usual Columbus standards
